The White Horse Inn is a quintessential village pub offering a warm, friendly welcome, excellent drinks and delicious home-cooked meals made from locally sourced ingredients. Set in a charming 18th-century building with beamed ceilings, flagstone floors and crackling log fires, it’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of rural Yorkshire. During the spring and summer months, guests can also enjoy food and snacks from our outdoor bar.
Upstairs, we have three stylish en-suite bed and breakfast rooms, ideal for a peaceful countryside escape. Please note that due to the layout of the historic building, access to the rooms is via steep stairs. The Lily room is a cosy retreat for two, featuring a king-size bed beneath oak-beamed ceilings, an en-suite with a shower and soft fluffy towels.
Our Rose room also sleeps two and has a bright, sunny aspect with a super king-size bed, beamed ceilings and a large walk-in shower in the en-suite.
The Daisy room offers a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower over a full-size bath, ideal for those who love a long soak. It’s also the quietest room in the inn, offering a truly restful stay.
Guests can enjoy a great selection of guest ales from local Yorkshire breweries, including Helmsley Brewing Co and Theakstons.
