Stockghyll is on the first floor and enjoys views across the stream to the waterwheel and includes a bathroom with a roll-top bath Victorian-style high-level toilet. Rattleghyll is on the second floor and the bathroom has a bronze Imperium clawfoot bath to soak yourself in. A Victorian-style shower attachment with a shower curtain and riser rail are also available. Loughrigg is on the second floor has and includes a bathroom with a beautiful bath including a shower enclosure.
All the rooms include outstanding features: Farrow and Ball paintwork, Will Morris fabrics, quality bed linen and bedding, a flat-screen TV with Sky Cinema and Now TV, plus a generous welcome tray with coffee, tea and hot chocolate (Fair Trade) and biscuits. A sample of home-baked goods is usually available too. We even provide a crystal decanter with a splash of port inside, perfect for a special occasion.
In the morning, you can look forward to a delicious breakfast ahead of a day of sightseeing. The elegant dining room is a great place to savour a hearty cooked breakfast. Fresh-fruit salad, organic yoghurt, thick-cut toast and tea and coffee are available too.
