Coxwold Tearoom Bed & Breakfast is situated in the old school house in the picturesque village of Coxwold in North Yorkshire. We are roughly 20 miles from York and 8 miles from Thirsk. As well as offering beautifully furnished guest rooms we have a popular and family friendly tearoom which is open Thursday to Sunday 11.00 to 16.00.
We are in a delightful 400 year old cottage. Because of the age of the building, it wasn’t possible to put en-suite facilities in but we do offer private bathrooms to our guests along with robes. We let two of our three rooms at any Text taken from bandbstays.co.uk one time to ensure that you have a private bathroom unless a family group or a group of friends request all three rooms and understand that they will have to share the two bathrooms. We have one twin and two double rooms. Facilities include Egyptian cotton bed linen, towels, bathrobes, TV, WiFi, in-room tea & coffee making and complementary toiletries. A delicious continental breakfast includes, bread, cheese, croissant, fresh fruit, granola, ham, orange juice and yogurt.
Our tearoom serves, teas, coffees, snacks and more. If you’re lucky, you will catch one of our regular Thai supper evenings which offer a selection of authentic Thai dishes – please see our Facebook for updates and info. ‘Rumah Home – Tearoom and B&B, Coxwold’. Enjoy the views of the picturesque village or bask among the buddleia and butterflies in our pretty rear garden. We pride ourselves on our homemade cakes and bakes.
We also have an interior shop and gift shop onsite, along with a seasonal Christmas shop which offers a range of gorgeous things for you and your home. We sell gifts, accessories, soft furnishings, fine local arts and crafts and the most amazing hand-made Thai silk.
Coxwold is a quiet retreat in rural surroundings and a haven for ramblers and cyclists. It is a useful base for exploring the surrounding areas including York, Helmsley and Harrogate. Relax in our secluded gardenswhile you rediscover the pleasures of afternoon tea and home baking. This area is full of historic charm with stunning countryside and landscapes.
Rates from Ł100 per room per night based on 2 people sharing a room. Includes continental breakfast.
