The Crown & Punchbowl is a quaint country pub and inn on the outskirts of Cambridge. We offer bed & breakfast accommodation in the small village of Horningsea.
We are passionate about locally sourced food, blending modern British and European cuisine, serving lunch and dinner in our conservatory, bar or our cosy snug. From Crown Classics to Specials from Our Head Chef, we have something to suit all your needs. We offer a wine list focused on the Languedoc - Roussillon Text taken from bandbstays.co.uk region of France and a variety of excellent beer and cider.
Our Grade II Listed country pub dates from the 17th Century and offers traditional features including brick fireplaces and original timber beams. This boutique hotel has a range of wonderful bedrooms available, all with en suite facilities. The Science Wing was added in December 2018 with four gorgeous rooms named after four of the 20th Century’s most renowned scientists, all of whom have a connection to Cambridge: Alan Turing, Rosalind Franklin, Stephen Hawking and Jane Goodall.
