Vale House is situated at the pretty Cotswolds village of Chalford near Stroud. Our bed and breakfast makes an ideal base for those who are looking to explore Gloucestershire and looking to stay in luxury B&B accommodation. The B&B is nestled in the south of the Cotswolds and is surrounded by stunning countryside.
Our guest rooms are beautifully decorated with starched, crisp white bedding. We have a choice of 5 guest rooms, each with their own special touches.
The Master Suite - Beautifully starched crisp white bedding covers an emperor size bed, the B&B room has a south facing aspect looking over the front garden, with an en suite dressing room leading into your own bathroom. The bathroom has a twin sink, a stand alone bath, walk in shower and a TV.
The Slipper Satin Room - With a lovely view of the wooded hill from a west facing aspect. Deer can frequently be seen whilst lying in the king size bed. Farrow and Ball colours and a lovely Georgian fireplace add to the charm of this room. The bathroom has an original stand alone bath.
The Twin Room - With beautiful Edwardian high twin beds, a sweet corner fireplace and a duel aspect this room is peaceful and calming. The Music room with its grand piano is available as a sitting room for you with access to the upper private gardens.
Green Room - A top-floor room featuring a double bed, en suite bathroom and stunning views.
The Henry Room - This has a king size bed and private bathroom.
We can ensure that the food during your stay is sublime to taste as we want to make sure that your stay is as special as possible. Breakfast, supper and dinner are available.
The bed and breakfast is conveniently situated between M4 and M5 with Bristol, the regency towns of Bath and Cheltenham all within easy reach. We are surrounded by local attractions and events such as the Cheltenham Gold cup, Badminton and Gatcombe Horse trials, as well as the Literary and Music festivals in Cheltenham.
