North Hill Farm Bed & Breakfast is in a glorious hilltop setting with majestic views of the Shropshire Hills at Cardington, an ideal place for anyone who loves the peace of the countryside with some of the best views in Shropshire.
The rooms are all named after birds that live around the farm and all have TVs and tea/coffee making facilities. Each room boasts stunning views over the valley.
Red Kite: Our stone-built cottage room has a kitchen and private terrace. This cosy and spacious room is ideal for a longer stay and is also available for self-catering, with optional breakfast.
Chaffinch: This delightful ES courtyard room is on the ground floor, double bedded Text taken from bandbstays.co.uk with walk-in shower. This has handrails and is suitable for guests with limited mobility. The room also has a fridge.
Nuthatch: Our comfortable double-bedded room in the main house comes with a choice of private bathrooms.
For breakfast, we serve an Aga cooked breakfast with a varied menu to suit most tastes. Eggs are from our own free-range hens. Jams and marmalades are all home-made. We have had many plaudits for our porridge with cream and maple syrup.
There is a small guests' sitting room and a summer house. If the weather is suitable the terrace is ideal for an evening drink to watch the sunset behind Caer Caradoc.
Shrewsbury, Ludlow and Ironbridge are all around 30 minutes away by car. The unspoiled beauty of this part of the border country has a wealth of birdlife including buzzards, red kites, woodpeckers and ravens - frequently seen performing their aerobatics above the farm - and a big variety of song-birds.
The Long Mynd is only a short distance away by car and there are several good pubs within easy reach for eating out.
North Hill Farm is open all year but no breakfasts Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

There is a £5 supplement for one-night stays.
