Folly Hall Farm is situated in the beautiful North York Moors, at Tranmire near Whitby. On our farm, we offer B&B accommodation that is suitable for both solo travellers and couples. We provide guests with the perfect place from which to explore the Moors, coast and the many wonderful attractions throughout North Yorkshire.
Located in a charmingly converted ground-floor stable adjacent to the Farm House, with its own private entrance, this accommodation features a spacious bedroom outfitted with a king-size bed, a flat-screen TV with DVD player and a coffee/tea tray. You'll also find a fridge stocked with fresh milk and water. The large en-suite bathroom boasts a roll-top bath, ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring, as well as a separate shower, WC and basin.
From the room, you can enjoy views of the moors, which offer a picturesque backdrop year-round, teeming with birdlife. Free-range chickens often wander up to the door to greet you. Outside, there is ample space to relax in the evening and watch the sunset with a glass of wine (wine glasses are provided, but please bring your own wine).
The room comes equipped with local maps, guide books, board games and DVDs for your entertainment and the clear night skies are a treat for stargazers.

Nearby Whitby is a picturesque Yorkshire fishing town. Providing many wonderful attractions including the famous Abbey and Whalebone Arch, the East and West Piers, St. Mary’s Church and the 199 Steps as well as a myriad of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants as well as its extensive sandy beach, Whitby is one of the top seaside destinations in the country.
