The Buck Inn provides superb accommodation in the picturesque village of Chop Gate, set within the peaceful countryside of North Yorkshire. Ideally located for walkers, we are the nearest inn to Wainwright’s famous Coast to Coast route and perfectly positioned on the Cleveland Way.
Our accommodation offers the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life. In total, we have 6 beautiful ground floor en suite bedrooms available, including twin, double and shared rooms.
All the rooms come with a range of excellent facilities, including a 22’’ flat-screen TV with Freeview, en suite bathrooms and tea and coffee making facilities. We offer home-cooked food in our Bistro, using lots of homegrown produce or locally sourced ingredients. From succulent venison loin to pan-fried salmon fillet, we have something for everyone.
Accommodation is also available in 2 outdoor chalets which come with shared showers. Camping is available for small tents as well.
Onsite we have a shop that provides basic supplies and a range of homemade and craft gifts.
We are in an ideal position for discovering all that the area has to offer. The inn has transport links to both Stokesley and Helmsley, plus the North York Moors and surrounding areas. Attractions to visit include:
