The Dog and Partridge Inn offers excellent accommodation in Bordhill near Sheffield. Based in a peaceful countryside position in South Yorkshire, we are perfect for a relaxing holiday.
Our beautiful inn dates to the Elizabethan period and offers high-quality accommodation. The gorgeous 18th Century old barn adjoining the Dog and Partridge has been tastefully converted to offer a range of modern comforts. Many original features have still been retained.
All of the rooms are spacious, stylish and boast spectacular views over rolling countryside. On the ground floor are our standard rooms which all come with en suite facilities and a 22’ flat screen HD TV including Freeview and beverage making facilities. The 1st floor houses our recently refurbished rooms which come with solid pine furniture and original Queen Anne trusses running across each room. Each room includes a flat wall-mounted TV with Freeview.
At the inn you can enjoy a range of locally handcrafted pulled cask beers in front of the roaring Text taken from bandbstays.co.uk fire. With traditional oak beams and nostalgic photographs, we offer a truly relaxing and warm atmosphere. We also offer a range of whiskies and gins.
You can enjoy a lovely meal at our restaurant. We offer traditional country cooking, including weekly specials of fish, meat, pasta and desserts. We use local suppliers of meat, poultry, vegetables and dairy.
