Powe House is situated in Cumbria, at Portinscale near Keswick. Our guest house provides comfortable and award-winning guest accommodation that is ideally located for those who want to explore the Lake District National Park.
Our 4 star gold award guest house has 5 guest rooms, all of which include an LCD television with built-in DVD player plus Freeview channels, en suite facilities, hot beverage tray, hair dryer and a radio alarm clock with iPod dock.
In the morning a choice of breakfast (including a traditional Text taken from bandbstays.co.uk English breakfast) is served to guests who are invited to come down between 8:30am and 9:00am. All products used in our breakfasts are sourced locally where possible to always ensure the best quality breakfasts. After a day exploring the local area, guests are welcome to relax in our large sitting room, which has a log burning fire.
Our location is perfect for exploring the north, central and western lakes. Portinscale is a mile away from Keswick, which is either a five minute drive, ten minutes on the Keswick launch or a 20 minute walk across two fields with fantastic views. At Keswick you will find pubs, outdoor clothing shops, restaurants, ‘Theatre by the Lake’, bike hire and much more.
