The Mill Inn offers fantastic accommodation in the parish of Mungrisdale near Penrith. We are based in a tranquil part of Cumbria and are on the Coast-to-Coast cycle route.

The Inn is ideally located for many scenic Lakeland walks suitable for both the serious and the amateur.
There are some beautiful low level walks up the River Caldew into Swineside Valley, leading up to Blencathra Fell for those wishing to explore further. Other Lakeland mountains for those with higher aspirations include Helvellyn, only 8 ½ miles south and Skiddaw only 5 miles to the west.
Ullswater Bassenthwaite Lake, Derwent Water and Thirlmere are all within easy driving distance.
Keswick and Penrith are the two closest towns, west and east along the A66 respectively, providing many opportunities for shopping as well as theatres, museums and other tourist attractions.
