Royal Oak Inn offers delightful bed and breakfast accommodation in the medieval town of Appleby-In-Westmorland. Our 16th Century inn is based on the edge of the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales National Park, perfect for an idyllic holiday in Cumbria.

We offer wonderful food and a range of drinks in our country pub. You can enjoy a drink in the TAPS Room or our cosy lounge that has an open fire. The restaurant seats up to 60 people and offers local and seasonal produce. On a Sunday we serve a roast.
Our country pub is in a great spot for exploring the area. The town has lots of shops and cafes to enjoy. Appley Leisure Centre has a swimming pool and you can wander around the gardens at Acorn Bank. Attractions to visit include:
