Denton House in Hesket Newmarket is family run bed and breakfast that is ideally located for those of you who wish to visit Cumbria and explore the Lake District National Park. The village of Hesket Newmarket has a village shop, a post office, an award winning pub and the Hesket Newmarket Brewery.
There are 7 B&B rooms available all of which are a great place to rest after a busy day. There are 2 double guest rooms, 3 family rooms, 1 twin and 1 single room available. Most of the rooms Text taken from bandbstays.co.uk have their own en suite bathroom however all of the rooms include their own TV and refreshments tray with tea/coffee making facilities. Fresh milk is provided on request.
Breakfast is served in our large breakfast room where a roaring open fire awaits you. Here you can enjoy your morning cup of tea/coffee with your paper or enjoying the lovely views of our floral garden. Breakfast is available between 8 – 9am. After breakfast or when you return from your days excursions you can retire to the guest lounge where there are comfy sofas, a wood burning stove and a selection of books and games that guests are welcome to enjoy.
From our bed and breakfast you can enjoy some of the stunning views of the surrounding countryside and up to the Caldbeck Fells making the area a haven for walkers and wildlife enthusiasts. A pub next door serves food. Our B&B is a relaxing retreat within the Lake District National Park and there are many gentle walks to enjoy from the front door of our B&B.
