The Manor Arms Hotel has, since 1988, been owned and run by us, David, Christine and son Scott and, of course, we are proud of our reputation for high standards in the areas of both our lovely en suite guest rooms and bar products! With up to eight real ales in addition to three still ciders available at any one time, we were delighted in 2004 to win the West Pennine Award. The Manor Arms enjoys a Text taken from bandbstays.co.uk highly prestigious star rating in the CAMRA Good Beer, Bed and Breakfast Guide and was featured in the final 16 of The National Pub of The Year 2006!
This award-winning, family-run 17th Century Free House, The Manor Arms is open daily from 12 noon, closing at 11.30 pm (12 midnight on Friday and Saturday). Hot and cold snacks are served until 10.00 pm, tea and coffee is constantly available. In the bar, we have a pool table and a pool team in addition to a selection of other activities including dominoes, cards, chess and books to keep the children happy.
We look forward to welcoming you to enjoy The Manor Arms and this uniquely attractive area and remind you that, for the weary tourist not wanting to return home just yet, there are comfortable en suite rooms accompanied the following morning by another splendid experience in the form of a Manor Arms breakfast served in the comfort of your room.
