Our stunning guesthouse is nestled right next to the Montrose Basin and is perfect for a relaxing and comfortable break away. At Oaklands we have 7 rooms, 2 doubles, 3 twins, 1 single and a family room which consists of a single bed and a double bed. In total our guest house can accommodate 14 guests at a time.

We are located on the outskirts of Montrose, a small coastal resort town in the county of Angus! The birthplace of Scotland! This little town is full of history, good food, breath taking scenery and friendly people! Montrose is the final resting place to Bamse, the great Norweigian sea dog, a statue of him stands on the other side of the bridge right next to the harbour. The town is also home to the Artist and Sculptor William Lamb, his studio remains as well as his sculptures which are located around the town. Montrose Museum and the Montrose air station are also places worthy of a visit during your stay! The air station is Great Britain's first operational Military Air Station and is open now as a heritage center.
