Glenrigh Guest House

Oban, Argyll

Facilities

Description

Glenrigh Guest House offers a stunning waterfront location with 4 star guest house accommodation in the picturesque Scottish town of Oban in Argyll.

Our guest house boasts large, exceptionally comfortable, fully equipped rooms with super king and king sized beds, whilst large easy chairs abound. Nearly all of our rooms have sea views and are furnished to a very high standard. Several ground floor rooms are available and are ideal for anybody with walking difficulties.

We offer a large garden with seating and extensive private car park - your space is guaranteed Text taken from bandbstays.co.uk within our grounds. Car parking can be extremely difficult to find on Oban's seafront and almost impossible during the high season. We are unique in offering all of our guests guaranteed off street parking in our large, easy access and egress, manoeuvrable car park.

We offer a generous multi choice breakfast to suit and satisfy all tastes. Served from 8:00 am to 9:30 am.

Glenrigh is a first class place to stay. The quality is obvious, with ambience and service beyond reproach.

The area around Oban is famed for its beautiful coastline and spectacular rugged mountain scenery. Queen Victoria described it as "one of the finest spots we have ever seen", a sentiment which still rings true today. No trip to the West Coast is complete without visiting the islands. Mull is 40 minutes away by ferry. It is a large island with 200 miles of roadway. It is really Scotland in miniature with white sandy beaches and rugged mountains. Oban is Scotland's main port for the western islands including the Isle of Iona, a national treasure and the birthplace of modern Christianity. Also, the island of Staffa is world renowned for its geological marvel of Fingal's Cave. Golfing, fishing, walking, boating, sailing, scuba diving, climbing, mountaineering, cycling, wildlife, castles, gardens all on our doorstep.
