Port Askaig Hotel offers charming accommodation on the shores of the Sound of Islay. Our family-run highland inn enjoys glorious views over the pier. We offer great access to Jura, Colonsay and the mainland, with a car ferry nearby, making us a great base for exploring Argyll.
We have a range of bedrooms available, including 5 superior twin sea views, 1 deluxe king/twin, 1 standard double, 3 standard double/twins, 2 standard twins and 1 single. Ground floor rooms are available for people with limited mobility. We also have an annexe that comes with 2 first-floor en suites that enjoys harbour views. Both rooms share a small TV lounge.
All the rooms include a hairdryer, towels, hospitality tray, extra blankets, shampoo and soap.
Breakfast is available in our Starboard Bistro. We can provide a packed breakfast for guests leaving for the ferry at 7 am.
On the first floor is a resident’s lounge to relax in whilst enjoying the views.
