The Running Horse nestling in the lovely village of Littleton in Hampshire has an elegant, comfortable feel in both the award-winning restaurant and the relaxing bar where it's easy to unwind with great food, wines and real ales. Our guest accommodation is a brilliant base to explore Winchester and the New Forest National Park.

The Running Horse Restaurant has established a solid reputation for fine dining in a relaxed and stylish environment. The menu caters to a variety of tastes and always contains a selection of vegetarian options. All our delicious meals are cooked daily by our expert chefs using fresh produce, as much of it as possible, sourced from our trusted local suppliers which are carefully selected for the quality of their products.
We also have a spacious outdoor area, great for a leisurely drink and meal on a sunny day, as well as a cosy cabana where you can enjoy a quiet coffee or your favourite tipple.
The Running Horse is just 3 miles outside of Winchester, but as well as the historic city there are plenty of other places to visit or activities to keep you busy, from local walks, farmer's markets, clay pigeon shooting or fly fishing.
