The Highdown Inn offers guest accommodation in Totland, in a charming country pub. We are situated in a gorgeous countryside setting on the Isle of Wight, perfect for an idyllic getaway.
We have a range of beautifully furnished bedrooms available, all ideal for a peaceful night’s sleep after a day exploring. You can choose from 2 double en suite rooms and 1 twin room with a separate bathroom.
All the rooms come with an array of facilities to make your stay as comfortable as possible, including tea and coffee making facilities, fresh towels & dressing gowns, a hairdryer, a television and Wi-Fi.
You can savour some delicious food in our fabulous restaurant. We offer the finest ingredients, including locally caught shellfish/seafood and local produce. From freshly caught local crab and lobster to a wonderful specials board, we offer a range of dishes to tantalise your taste buds. The restaurant is great for romantic meals, a family gathering or group bookings, with ample seating available for special occasions, weddings and parties as well.
Our Tennyson Tea Rooms is perfect for those who fancy indulging, with yummy cream teas and a sumptuous high tea available. We are just a short drive from Alum Bay and the renowned Needles to the West. You can savour the spectacular views at Freshwater Bay or Colwell Bay, whilst the area is also a haven for cyclists and walkers, with an abundance of scenic routes in the area. Just a short walk away is the shops and stunning beaches of Totland Bay, plus the famous National Trust attraction of Needles Old Battery. Attractions to visit include:
