Twentieth Century B&B offers guest accommodation in Birchington-on-Sea, just a 4-minute stroll from the Blue Flag beach of Minnis Bay. Our bed and breakfast in Kent is a 10-minute walk from Birchington train station, making us a great base for exploring the area.
Our Art Deco house dates from 1935 and has been renovated by the current owners to offer beautiful accommodation. We have 4 themed rooms to choose which all include handpicked original period furniture and fittings from different eras of the twentieth century. All the rooms come with a TV, digital radio, hair dryer, free Wi-Fi, tea and coffee and fresh milk and water.
Tudor Gates
This bedroom comes with a king-size bed and is furnished with original mid-century furniture. There is an en suite bathroom with a shower and a large balcony.

Our king room is our Text taken from bandbstays.co.uk 1930s/40s aviation-themed room and comes with an en suite bathroom with a shower. There is a balcony where weather can be served if the weather is suitable.
Bardon and Lady Carson
This Art Deco suite has original art deco furniture, a king-size bed, a separate lounge area, en suite with a shower and a spacious sun terrace to unwind on where you can be served your breakfast.
David Bowie
Our 1970’s themed room is decorated with pictures and artwork celebrating Bowie’s early career. There is a space-age 1970s plastic modular double bed and a separate bathroom decorated in the same theme including a life-size image of David Bowie in the shower.
In the morning, we serve a complimentary breakfast to set you up for a day sightseeing. We use as much produce as possible that is organic, local, Fairtrade or grown in our garden. From a traditional breakfast to American-style pancakes, we have something for everyone.
We are close to the coastal path towards Westgate and Margate. Visit Quex Park, home to 250 acres of parklands and gardens, plus lots of attractions. Visit the Spitfire & Hurricane Memorial Museum or see Canterbury’s cathedral. Attractions to visit include:

Dreamland Margate.
Turner Contemporary.
Marlowe Theatre.
Dickens House Museum.
