At Number 27 all our rooms are finished to the highest standards, including luxury Egyptian bedding, contemporary travertine bathrooms, 32" led HD TVs, laptop safes, coffee and tea making facilities, power showers, plus fridge and radio alarms in all rooms.

Just below us is the Blue Flagged Porthminster beach that we also own, with our award winning restaurant, putting green, water sports centre, beach huts and much more.

For centuries this magical town has lured people from all corners of the globe. The sands, the sea, the artists, the little streets and the gorgeous harbour setting the scene. Even the origin of this leading resort, circled by a golden necklace of sand, reads like a fairy tale. Locals talk of an Irish princess and missionary, St. Ia, sailed over on a leaf from the Emerald Isle and built an oratory where the 15th century parish church now stands.

St. Ives is world famous as an art centre from Whistler to Lanyon and Nickolson, the self taught and primitive Alfred Wallis, the potter Bernard Leach and Patrick Heron who lives at nearby Zennor. The town, so distinguished by its artists, now has its own Tate Gallery at Porthmeor. One such artist, the highly acclaimed Dame Barbara Hepworth, has left an incomparable inheritance which is best seen at her Trewyn memorial studio and gardens.

Now with an accolade of two Euro Blue Flags to reward the quality and safety of its beaches and facilities, St Ives is in a class of its own, not only in Cornwall, but in the south west and beyond.

Sea view apartment available as self catering or B&B.
