Farthings Bed and Breakfast Accommodation, a Grade II listed property dating from 1797, is a bed and breakfast which is full of character and still retains many original features. It is located a short walk from historic Shaldon village on the South Devon Coast. Shaldon is an unspoilt village with a thriving community. It has many amenities including pubs, restuarants, sea and river beaches, botanical gardens, pitch and putt golf course and a miniature rare breeds zoo. It is on the Templer Way and close to the South West Coast Path. There are many annual events including the Water Carnival, the 200 year old week-long Shaldon Regatta and the Shaldon Music Festival.
There are 3 beautifully presented bedrooms which all include a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. For breakfast Guests can select from a varied menu which includes full English, Craster kippers and Grimsby smoked haddock. Special dietary needs are, where possible, catered for.

The historic holiday town of Teignmouth is directly across the Teign estuary, linked by a bridge and a regular ferry from Shaldon river beach. Also within easy travelling distance are Torquay, Exeter, Dawlish, Totnes and Newton Abbot.
