Zeales is a charming 17th Century Grade II Listed home situated in a quiet rural village on the edge of Exmoor, 4 miles north of South Molton. It is an excellent centre for walking and touring the Exmoor National Park, the dramatic North Devon Coast, central Devon and other beauty spots further afield.
Our comfortable accommodation is ideally suited for those looking for a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We have 3 beautiful bedrooms available, all perfect for a restful night’s sleep. Our spacious double rooms all have en suite bathrooms and central heating. Bedrooms consist of two twin rooms and a double room. Two of the rooms can be made into family rooms. A guest lounge has a TV and open log fire when appropriate. This is a great space to unwind after a day of sightseeing.
We will set you up for the day ahead with a full English breakfast or continental breakfast. A three-course evening meal is available by arrangement.
Zeales is conveniently situated for a variety of activities and visits. For the energetic - the challenge of walking or cycling on Exmoor itself attracts a fair number of visitors. Whatever the weather Exmoor produces some of the most breath-taking sites imaginable and with the freedom of walking or cycling the choice of viewpoint is yours for the taking.
For the slightly less energetic there are many more structured walks - the well-known”Tarka Trail” is suitable for people of all ages and levels of fitness, with cycles available for hire from a number of locations. Alternatively there are many pre-tested walks of varying distances, usually starting and finishing at a suitable hostelry! Details of all these walks are available from Zeales.
