Our four Bed & Breakfast rooms, beautifully decorated with an eclectic mix of furniture, are named after birds which frequent the Fleet:
Merganser: A double room with king size bed and a separate private bathroom with bath, bidet and shower cubicle. Toweling robes are provided. Sea views of the Fleet, Chesil Beach and Portland.
Redshank: A beautiful double room with king size bed and en suite shower room. Sea views of the Fleet, Chesil Beach and Portland.
Sandpiper: A twin room with en suite shower room. A double aspect room with sea and garden views.
Little Tern: Our single room with double bed and en suite shower room. A small window with garden view.
Chocolates and home made cakes, tea and coffee are served in the bedrooms on Denby and Wedgewood china collections. We use Egyptian cotton bedding and towels and luxurious shower gels and hair products. Original artwork by Roger Smith of Jurassic Coast Gallery is displayed throughout the property.

We use our chicken and duck eggs for breakfast, dry cured bacon and sausages from local butchers, and homemade cakes, granola, jams and marmalade are our speciality. Afternoon tea and cakes are served daily.
We have a resident Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Archie. Our pet pigs George and Mildred wander freely in the gardens along with rare breed chicken and ducks. In the fields we have Wiltshire Longhorn sheep, horses, miniature Shetlands Coco, Charlie and Fudge and alpacas Kim, Barney and Angus.
Dorset’s 88 miles of coastline stretches from Christchurch in the East, famous for its medieval Priory, to Lyme Regis in the West, well renowned for fossil hunting and the dramatic harbour and Cobb, setting for the filming of the ‘French Lieutenant's Woman’. With safe sandy beaches, rugged cliff tops and tiny coves, Dorset will reward you with stunning views across outstanding countryside and sea.
