Clare Cottage offers wonderful bed and breakfast accommodation in the abbey town of Sherborne. We are only a few minutes from the shops and in a great position to explore Dorset.
Our cottage dates from 1650 and has been renovated to offer modern accommodation whilst retaining original features. Outside there is a secluded garden to relax in when the sun is out.
We have 2 bedrooms to choose from, both with en suite facilities. The Blue Room comes with a super king bed, a free-standing bathtub, sink and en suite loo. The Garden Room has a king bed and offers garden views and a balcony to relax on. The bathroom is just outside this room. We do offer special rates for business people, Sunday/Monday - Thursday inclusive, £65 per night. Cots are available.

Whilst staying with us you can explore the local area. There are lots of National Trust and Heritage properties to see. In Sherborne, there is a music festival in May and a Literary Festival in October. Attractions to visit include:
